§ Osaka (the second largest city in Japan) » Visit infant check-up in health center and find the roll of Maternal and Child Health Handbook. » Visit Japanese slum and learn how the Japanese public health people tackle the poverty in Osaka. » Osaka Castle: Built in 1586 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Contains many historical art ob jects and documents. Surrounded by blooming cherry blossoms. » Osaka is called JAPANESE KITCHEN. Enjoy B-GRADE GROUMET such as Okonomiyaki(Japanese pan cake) or Takoyaki(fried octopus) in Osaka. » Sumo (Japanese wrestling) (*$35~) § Kyoto » Explore the Japanese historical culture. Kyoto flourished as the capital of Japan for as long as 1,000 years after 794. A number of temples and shrines are registered as world heritage sites. We plan free-time for 28 March during day time. » Maiko: experience to wear Maiko costume and take a walk around Kyoto.(*$60~) » Arashiyama: Arashiyama is the famous tourist sites, outskirt of Kyoto.
